Description

These Bloody Red Velvet Cake Pops are a spooky and delicious treat, featuring moist red velvet cake mixed with cream cheese frosting, coated in smooth white chocolate, and finished with a dramatic red ‘blood’ drizzle—perfect for  themed parties.

Ingredients

1 box red velvet cake mix (plus ingredients listed on the box)

1/2 cup cream cheese frosting

2 cups white chocolate chips, melted

Red food coloring or red chocolate melts

Instructions

  1. Prepare the red velvet cake according to the package instructions. Allow it to cool completely.
  2. Crumble the cooled cake into a large bowl and mix in the cream cheese frosting until the mixture holds together.
  3. Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Freeze the cake balls for 1 hour.
  5. Dip each cake ball into the melted white chocolate, coating completely, and place back on the baking sheet.
  6. Drizzle red food coloring or melted red chocolate over each cake pop to create the eerie “bloody” effect.
  7. Let the cake pops set at room temperature before serving.

Notes

For a darker look, dip the cake pops in milk or dark chocolate instead of white.

Add festive sprinkles or edible glitter for extra flair.

To make vegan, use vegan cake mix and dairy-free frosting.

Store at room temperature up to 3 days or freeze up to 1 month.
