Description
Chocolate Caramel Marshmallows are the ultimate indulgent treat, combining fluffy marshmallows, rich caramel, and smooth dark chocolate. Topped with sea salt or sprinkles, they’re perfect for parties or special occasions.
Ingredients
12 marshmallows
12 toothpicks or lollipop sticks
1 cup caramel bits
1 cup dark chocolate melting wafers
1 tbsp sea salt, chocolate sea salt, or sprinkles (for topping)
Non-stick spray or light oil (for wax paper)
Instructions
- Insert a toothpick or lollipop stick into the top of each marshmallow and place them on a tray lined with wax paper.
- Lightly spray or oil the wax paper to prevent sticking.
- Melt the caramel bits according to the package instructions. Let cool slightly.
- Dip each marshmallow into the melted caramel and return to the tray to harden.
- Once the caramel has set, melt the dark chocolate wafers as directed.
- Dip each caramel-coated marshmallow into the melted chocolate.
- While the chocolate is still soft, sprinkle with sea salt or sprinkles.
- Allow the chocolate to harden completely before serving.
Notes
Use parchment paper if you don’t have wax paper.
Caramel and chocolate should be slightly cooled before dipping for best texture.
Decorate quickly after dipping in chocolate before it hardens.
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days or refrigerate for up to 10 days.
