4 cups of water
1 can (13.66 ounces) coconut milk
1 cup pure maple syrup
Ice, for serving
Instructions
- Wash the lime thoroughly and cut off both ends.
- Slice the lime into wedges.
- Add lime wedges (with peel), water, coconut milk, and maple syrup to a blender.
- Blend for about 30 seconds. Avoid over-blending to prevent bitterness.
- Strain the mixture using a fine mesh strainer or nut milk bag.
- Pour the drink into glasses filled with ice and serve immediately.
- Hand-Squeezed Method (Alternative): Squeeze 1 cup of fresh lime juice.
- In a pitcher, combine the lime juice, water, coconut milk, and maple syrup.
- Zest 1 lime into the mixture and stir well.
- Pour over ice and enjoy.
Notes
- Blend only for 30 seconds to avoid bitterness from lime peel.
- Use full-fat coconut milk for a creamier texture.
- Best served fresh, but can be stored for up to 2 days refrigerated.
- Stir or shake before serving if storing ahead.
- Adjust sweetness by using less maple syrup or adding more water.
