Description

This Creamy Coconut Milk Brazilian Lemonade is a tropical, dairy-free twist on the traditional limeade, blending fresh lime, rich coconut milk, and natural maple syrup for a smooth, citrusy, and ultra-refreshing summer drink.

Ingredients

1 ripe lime, thoroughly washed (option to use 2 limes for more flavor)

4 cups of water

1 can (13.66 ounces) coconut milk

1 cup pure maple syrup

Ice, for serving

Instructions

  1. Wash the lime thoroughly and cut off both ends.
  2. Slice the lime into wedges.
  3. Add lime wedges (with peel), water, coconut milk, and maple syrup to a blender.
  4. Blend for about 30 seconds. Avoid over-blending to prevent bitterness.
  5. Strain the mixture using a fine mesh strainer or nut milk bag.
  6. Pour the drink into glasses filled with ice and serve immediately.
  7. Hand-Squeezed Method (Alternative): Squeeze 1 cup of fresh lime juice.
  8. In a pitcher, combine the lime juice, water, coconut milk, and maple syrup.
  9. Zest 1 lime into the mixture and stir well.
  10. Pour over ice and enjoy.

Notes

  • Blend only for 30 seconds to avoid bitterness from lime peel.
  • Use full-fat coconut milk for a creamier texture.
  • Best served fresh, but can be stored for up to 2 days refrigerated.
  • Stir or shake before serving if storing ahead.
  • Adjust sweetness by using less maple syrup or adding more water.
