Description

Creamy Cowboy Butter Chicken Pasta is a rich, indulgent, and flavorful dish made with tender chicken, al dente pasta, and a buttery cream sauce. Perfect for weeknight dinners or special gatherings, it combines comfort food with a sophisticated twist.


Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)

8 oz fettuccine or penne pasta

3 tbsp unsalted butter

1 cup heavy cream

4 cloves fresh garlic, minced

2 tsp Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper, to taste


Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook until al dente according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tbsp butter. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook for 6-7 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and let rest.
  3. In the same skillet, add remaining 1 tbsp butter and minced garlic. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and stir until the sauce thickens, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Slice chicken into bite-sized pieces and return to the skillet along with the pasta. Toss until evenly coated in the sauce.
  6. Serve warm, garnished with extra Italian seasoning or Parmesan cheese, if desired.
