Description

Creamy Garlic Butter Spaghetti with Parmesan Beef is a comforting pasta dish featuring tender Parmesan-coated beef paired with a rich, creamy garlic butter sauce. Perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions, this meal is hearty, flavorful, and indulgent.

Ingredients

For the Parmesan Beef:

1 lb beef (ribeye, sirloin, or flank), thinly sliced or cubed

2 tbsp olive oil

2 tbsp butter

3 garlic cloves, minced

Salt and pepper, to taste

½ tsp Italian seasoning (optional)

¼ cup grated Parmesan (plus more for topping)

For the Garlic Butter Spaghetti:

12 oz spaghetti

4 tbsp butter

4 garlic cloves, finely minced

1 cup heavy cream

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Salt and black pepper, to taste

Fresh parsley, for garnish

Red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook spaghetti until al dente. Drain, reserving ½ cup of pasta water.
  2. Season beef with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning (if using). Heat olive oil and 2 tbsp butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
  3. Add beef to the skillet and cook until browned, about 3–5 minutes. Sprinkle with ¼ cup Parmesan, stirring until slightly crusted. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt 4 tbsp butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Add Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and smooth. Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if desired.
  6. Add cooked spaghetti to the sauce, tossing to coat. Add reserved pasta water if needed to loosen the sauce.
  7. Return beef to the skillet and mix until combined.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan before serving.

Notes

  • Substitute beef with chicken, shrimp, or mushrooms for variation.
  • Swap Parmesan with Pecorino Romano for a sharper flavor.
  • Add vegetables like spinach, mushrooms, or roasted bell peppers for extra nutrition.
  • Use half-and-half or milk instead of cream for a lighter sauce.
  • Best served fresh, but leftovers reheat well with a splash of milk or cream.
