Ingredients

1 package pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

1/2 cup tomato sauce

1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

8 slices black olives (sliced lengthwise for legs)

2 whole cherry tomatoes (halved for eyes)

1 bell pepper (thinly sliced for legs or decoration)

10 slices pepperoni (optional)

5 fresh basil leaves (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) and place the oven rack in the middle position.
  2. Roll or stretch the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface into a 12-inch circle, keeping the rim slightly thicker.
  3. Spread tomato sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a ½-inch border.
  4. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella generously over the sauce.
  5. Arrange the black olive slices around the center to form spider legs.
  6. Stack halved olives at the center of the pizza for the spider’s body.
  7. Add cherry tomato slices or small olive halves for the spider’s eyes.
  8. Carefully transfer the pizza on parchment paper to a preheated baking stone or baking sheet.
  9. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.
  10. After baking, add fresh basil or optional pepperoni for extra flavor and decoration.
