Description

These Frozen Yogurt Granola Cups are an easy, healthy, and delicious treat perfect for breakfast, snacks, or a light dessert. Made with creamy Greek yogurt, crunchy granola, and topped with fresh fruit and nuts, they come together in minutes and are chilled in the freezer for a refreshing, nutritious bite.

Ingredients

Frozen Yogurt Granola Cups

  • 1/4 cup peanut butter (or almond butter)
  • 1 Tablespoon honey (or agave syrup)
  • 3/4 cup granola
  • 1 cup whole milk Greek yogurt

Toppings

  • 1/2 cup sliced berries (or fruit of choice)
  • 1 Tablespoon chopped walnuts
  • Honey drizzle (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare muffin tin: Line a muffin tin with 6 paper or silicone liners to prevent sticking and make it easy to remove the granola cups once frozen.
  2. Make granola base: In a small bowl, mix together the peanut butter, honey, and granola until well combined. This sticky mixture forms the crunchy crust of the cups.
  3. Fill muffin liners: Evenly distribute the granola mixture among the 6 liners, then press each down firmly with a spoon or the bottom of a measuring cup to form a compact base.
  4. Add yogurt filling: Spoon whole milk Greek yogurt into each granola cup up to the top of the liner, using about 2-3 tablespoons per cup.
  5. Add toppings: Top each cup with sliced berries or your choice of fruit, sprinkle with chopped walnuts, and drizzle honey on top if using for added sweetness.
  6. Freeze cups: Place the muffin tin in the freezer and freeze for 30 minutes to 1 hour until the yogurt solidifies and the cups hold their shape.
  7. Serve or store: Let the cups thaw for 2-3 minutes at room temperature before carefully removing them from the liners. Enjoy immediately or store in an airtight container in the freezer for later consumption.

Notes

  • Use your favorite nut butter and fruit to customize the flavor.
  • For a dairy-free option, substitute Greek yogurt with coconut or almond milk yogurt.
  • These cups can be kept frozen for up to 1 week in an airtight container.
  • If you prefer less sweetness, reduce or omit the honey drizzle on top.
  • Be gentle when removing cups from liners after freezing to keep their shape intact.
