Description

Garlic Butter Lobster Tails are a luxurious seafood dish featuring tender lobster meat brushed with a rich garlic butter sauce and baked or grilled to perfection. Finished with fresh parsley and lemon, this recipe is perfect for special occasions or an elegant dinner at home.

Ingredients

4 lobster tails (68 oz each)

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

4 garlic cloves, minced

1 tbsp fresh lemon juice

1 tsp paprika

1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Salt and pepper, to taste

1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C) or prepare a grill for medium-high heat.
  2. Using kitchen shears, cut the lobster shells lengthwise down the middle, stopping at the base. Gently separate the meat from the shell, keeping the tail attached, and lift the meat to sit on top.
  3. In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  4. Place lobster tails on a baking sheet, skillet, or grill. Brush the lobster meat generously with garlic butter, reserving some for basting.
  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes or grill for 8-10 minutes, basting halfway through, until meat is opaque and slightly golden. Internal temperature should reach 140°F (60°C).
  6. Remove from heat, drizzle with remaining garlic butter, garnish with parsley, and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

Add smoked paprika for a smoky flavor variation.

Increase red pepper flakes or add cayenne for extra spice.

Experiment with herbs like thyme or rosemary for an herbed butter version.

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.

Reheat gently in a 350°F (175°C) oven for best results.
