Description

Juicy garlic butter steak bites served with a rich, creamy Parmesan sauce. A quick 30-minute recipe that’s perfect for weeknights yet elegant enough for entertaining.

Ingredients

1 lb (450g) sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized cubes

2 tablespoons olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

3 tablespoons unsalted butter

Salt and pepper to taste

Optional: chopped fresh parsley, for garnish

1 tablespoon unsalted butter (for sauce)

2 cloves garlic, finely minced (for sauce)

1 cup heavy cream

½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Salt and black pepper to taste (for sauce)

Optional: pinch of red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Pat the steak cubes dry and season generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak in batches, searing for 2–3 minutes per side until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Reduce heat to medium. In the same skillet, melt butter, add garlic, and sauté until fragrant (about 30 seconds). Return the steak to the skillet and toss to coat in the garlic butter.
  4. In a separate saucepan, melt butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds. Add the heavy cream, bring to a gentle simmer, then stir in Parmesan cheese until smooth and creamy.
  5. Serve the steak bites with the Parmesan cream sauce poured over the top or on the side. Garnish with fresh parsley and enjoy.

Notes

For extra tenderness, use filet mignon instead of sirloin or ribeye.

Add sautéed mushrooms or caramelized onions for more flavor.

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.

Reheat gently in a skillet with a splash of cream or broth; avoid microwaving for too long.

The garlic butter steak bites are also delicious without the cream sauce.
