Description

These Homemade Cool Ranch Corn Chips are a crunchy, flavorful, and healthier alternative to store-bought Cool Ranch Doritos. Made with fresh herbs, spices, and corn tortillas, they’re baked to perfection for a guilt-free snack everyone will love.

Ingredients

2 tablespoon nutritional yeast

1 teaspoon sweet paprika

1 tablespoon dried parsley

2 teaspoon fresh dill (or 1 teaspoon dried)

1 teaspoon dried chives

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon sweet paprika

½ teaspoon onion powder

½ teaspoon sea salt

10 organic corn tortillas

1 ½ tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Add all herbs and spices to a spice grinder and blend until well mixed, or crush in a bag or mortar and pestle if you don’t have a grinder.
  3. Brush both sides of each tortilla with olive oil, stack them, and cut into wedges.
  4. Arrange tortilla wedges in a single layer on baking sheets.
  5. Bake for 6 minutes, flip with tongs, then bake another 6–9 minutes until golden and crispy.
  6. Remove from oven, spritz with olive oil, and sprinkle generously with the spice mix.
  7. Toss to coat evenly and let sit a few minutes to finish drying out.
  8. Serve with your favorite dip and enjoy.

Notes

  • Add cayenne or chili powder to the spice mix for extra heat.
  • Mix grated Parmesan into the seasoning for a cheesy twist.
  • Best served with dips like guacamole, salsa, or ranch.
  • Store in an airtight container for 2–3 days at room temperature.
  • Reheat in the oven at 350°F for 5 minutes to restore crispiness.
