Description
A warm and soothing Honey Chamomile Tea Latte made with calming chamomile tea, creamy milk, natural honey, and a hint of cinnamon. Perfect for relaxing evenings or a peaceful morning ritual.
Ingredients
1 cup water
1 chamomile tea bag
1/2 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
1–2 tsp honey (to taste)
A pinch of ground cinnamon (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat 1 cup of water in a kettle or saucepan until it reaches a rolling boil.
- Place the chamomile tea bag in a mug and pour the boiling water over it. Steep for 5–7 minutes, then remove the tea bag.
- While the tea is steeping, warm 1/2 cup of milk in a small saucepan over medium heat until steaming but not boiling. Stir occasionally to prevent scorching and froth for a light texture if desired.
- Stir 1–2 teaspoons of honey into the steeped tea, adjusting sweetness to taste.
- Pour the warmed milk into the honey-sweetened chamomile tea and stir gently to combine.
- If desired, sprinkle a pinch of ground cinnamon on top before serving. Enjoy warm!
Notes
- For a dairy-free version, use almond, oat, or coconut milk.
- Swap honey with maple syrup, agave, or stevia for alternative sweeteners.
- Add spices like nutmeg or ginger for extra warmth.
- Best enjoyed fresh, but tea and milk can be stored separately in the fridge for up to 24 hours and reheated gently.
- Can be served iced by cooling the tea and pouring over ice before adding milk.
