Description

This Starbucks Copycat Iced Cherry Chai is a refreshing and indulgent iced beverage combining rich chai concentrate with creamy cherry-flavored cold foam and a touch of milk. Perfect for those who love the warmth of chai tea balanced with the sweet, fruity notes of cherry, topped with a beautiful garnish of freeze-dried cherries.

Ingredients

Cherry Cream Cold Foam

  • 3 tbsp heavy cream
  • 1 ½ tbsp cherry syrup
  • 1 tbsp whole milk

Iced Cherry Chai

  • ½ cup chai tea concentrate
  • ½ cup milk of choice (2% milk recommended)
  • ½ tsp freeze-dried cherries (crushed)
  • Ice

Instructions

  1. Make the Cherry Cream Cold Foam: Add the 3 tablespoons of heavy cream, 1 ½ tablespoons of cherry syrup, and 1 tablespoon of whole milk into a small glass or container. Use a frother or hand whisk to whip the mixture for 20 to 30 seconds until it is fully whipped and frothy. Set this cherry cream cold foam aside to use later.
  2. Prepare the Iced Cherry Chai: Fill a serving glass with ice cubes to chill the drink. Pour in ½ cup of chai tea concentrate followed by ½ cup of your milk of choice (2% milk is recommended for a balanced creamy taste). Stir gently to combine the liquids well.
  3. Assemble and Garnish: Spoon the prepared cherry cream cold foam over the iced chai mixture to create a lovely creamy layer on top. Finally, sprinkle ½ teaspoon of crushed freeze-dried cherries over the foam for a burst of cherry flavor and a decorative touch. Serve immediately and enjoy your iced cherry chai latte.

Notes

  • Use a milk frother or handheld whisk to achieve the best cherry cream cold foam texture.
  • Chai tea concentrate can be store-bought or homemade; adjust sweetness accordingly.
  • Freeze-dried cherries add flavor and an attractive garnish; fresh cherries can be substituted but will change the texture.
  • The recipe yields a single serving but can be easily multiplied.
  • Use your preferred milk substitute (almond, oat, soy) to customize the drink.
