Ingredients
½ cup extra virgin olive oil
¼ cup lemon juice
¼ cup lime juice
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons cilantro leaves, chopped
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 pounds)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, lime juice, garlic, salt, and chopped cilantro. Mix well.
- Place chicken breasts in a Ziplock bag or bowl and pour the marinade over them. Seal and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (up to 2 hours).
- Grill Method: Preheat grill to medium heat. Cook chicken for 4-5 minutes per side until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Air Fryer Method: Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Line basket with parchment paper, place chicken inside, and air fry for 12 minutes, flipping halfway. Baste with marinade. Ensure chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Marinate chicken for at least 30 minutes, ideally up to 2 hours for best flavor.
- You can swap cilantro for parsley or basil.
- Add chili flakes or jalapeño for a spicy kick.
