Description

Pan-Fried Peaches are a quick, caramelized dessert made with fresh peaches, brown sugar, cinnamon, and ginger. Ready in just 15 minutes, they’re a simple yet indulgent treat perfect for pairing with ice cream, yogurt, or pancakes.

Ingredients

4 fresh peaches

1 tablespoon unsalted butter

2 tablespoons brown sugar (adjust to taste)

½ teaspoon cinnamon powder

¼ teaspoon ginger powder

A pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Cut each peach in half vertically and remove the seed.
  2. Melt butter in a pan over medium heat.
  3. Add brown sugar, cinnamon, ginger, and salt. Stir to combine.
  4. Place peach halves cut side down in the pan.
  5. Cook for 5–7 minutes until the cut side is browned and caramelized.
  6. Flip the peaches and cook for another 2–3 minutes.
  7. Remove from heat and serve warm with ice cream, yogurt, or as desired.

Notes

  • Top with chopped nuts for extra crunch.
  • Swap brown sugar with honey or maple syrup for a different sweetness.
  • Experiment with spices like nutmeg, cardamom, or allspice.
  • For a vegan version, replace butter with coconut oil or plant-based butter.
  • Best served fresh, but can be reheated if needed.
