Ingredients
40 Reese’s full-size peanut butter cups, divided
3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
4 tablespoons heavy cream
14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
Instructions
- Line a 9×9-inch pan with aluminum foil and lightly spray with nonstick spray. Set aside.
- Arrange 16 Reese’s peanut butter cups in the pan in 4 rows of 4. Slice 4 additional peanut butter cups in half and place them around the edges to fully cover the bottom.
- Chop the remaining 20 Reese’s peanut butter cups into quarters or crumble them and set aside.
- In a heavy-bottomed saucepan, combine the chocolate chips, heavy cream, and sweetened condensed milk. Heat over low heat, stirring constantly until melted and smooth.
- Pour the chocolate mixture over the peanut butter cups in the pan and spread evenly.
- Sprinkle the chopped peanut butter cups on top and press gently into the warm chocolate.
- Let the fudge cool at room temperature for 30 minutes.
- Cover with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes or until firm.
- Slice into pieces and serve.
Notes
Store fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
Use milk chocolate chips instead of semi-sweet for a sweeter variation.
For a nut-free option, substitute with nut-free chocolate candy.
To freeze, wrap tightly and store for up to 3 months.
For clean slices, dip a sharp knife in hot water, dry, then cut.
