Description

A rich and creamy Southern-inspired milkshake that blends the comforting flavors of pecan pie into a chilled, indulgent dessert drink.

Ingredients

2 cups vanilla ice cream

1/2 cup cold milk

1/3 cup caramel sauce (plus more for drizzling)

1/4 tsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

1/3 cup crushed graham crackers (plus extra for garnish)

1/3 cup toasted pecans (some whole, some chopped)

Whipped cream, for topping

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine vanilla ice cream, cold milk, caramel sauce, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and crushed graham crackers. Blend until thick and creamy.
  2. Drizzle caramel sauce around the inside of your serving glass and coat the rim with crushed graham crackers.
  3. Pour the milkshake into the prepared glass.
  4. Top with whipped cream, additional caramel drizzle, toasted pecans, and extra graham cracker crumbs.
  5. Serve immediately with a straw or spoon.

Notes

  • Add a pinch of sea salt for a salted caramel version.
  • Use dairy-free ice cream and milk for a vegan-friendly option.
  • Include a splash of bourbon for an adult twist.
  • Use crushed pie crust cookies instead of graham crackers for a richer rim.
  • Best served fresh; if stored, re-blend before serving.
