Description

A light, creamy, and refreshing dessert salad made with strawberry gelatin, whipped topping, pineapple, marshmallows, fresh strawberries, and sour cream. Perfect for potlucks, family gatherings, or summer events with no cooking required.

Ingredients

1 (3 oz) package strawberry gelatin

1 cup boiling water

1/2 cup cold water

1 (8 oz) container whipped topping (like Cool Whip)

1 (16 oz) can crushed pineapple, drained

1 1/2 cups mini marshmallows

1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped

1/2 cup sour cream

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, dissolve the strawberry gelatin in boiling water. Stir in the cold water and let it cool to room temperature.
  2. Fold in the whipped topping until smooth.
  3. Gently mix in the drained pineapple, mini marshmallows, chopped strawberries, and sour cream until well combined.
  4. Cover the mixture and refrigerate for at least 2 hours until fully set.
  5. Serve chilled and enjoy.

Notes

  • Drain the pineapple thoroughly to avoid excess liquid.
  • Chill for at least 2 hours for best texture.
  • Can be made a day ahead and stored in the fridge.
  • Use sugar-free gelatin for a lighter version.
  • Frozen strawberries can be substituted if thawed and drained.
