Description
A refreshing and vibrant Strawberry Pink Drink combining passion fruit tea, acai powder, and fresh strawberries with a creamy touch of coconut milk. Perfect for a revitalizing treat or a light summer beverage.
Ingredients
Tea Base
- 2 passion fruit tea bags
- 1 teaspoon acai powder
- 1-4 tablespoons sugar or honey (optional)
- 2 cups unsweetened green tea
Fruit Mixture
- 2 cups halved strawberries
- 1 cup mango, pineapple, or white grape juice (mango recommended)
- 2 tablespoons freeze-dried strawberries (optional)
Finishing Touch
- 3/4 cup unsweetened coconut milk
Instructions
- Prepare the Tea: Bring 2 cups of water to a boil, then remove from heat. Add the 2 passion fruit tea bags and 1 teaspoon of acai powder to the hot water. Cover and steep for 5-10 minutes to extract flavors. After steeping, strain the mixture into a pitcher to remove tea bags and powder residue.
- Sweeten and Add Green Tea: Stir in 1-4 tablespoons of sugar or honey if desired (optional). Then add 2 cups of unsweetened green tea to the pitcher and mix well.
- Make the Strawberry Puree: In a blender, combine 2 cups of halved strawberries, 1 cup of mango juice (or preferred juice), and 2 tablespoons of freeze-dried strawberries if using. Blend until smooth. Strain the puree through a fine sieve into the tea pitcher to remove seeds and pulp. Stir the combined mixture and chill in the refrigerator.
- Assemble the Pink Drink: Fill a tall glass with ice. Pour 1 1/4 cups of the chilled strawberry acai tea into the glass. Add 3/4 cup of unsweetened coconut milk and 2-3 sliced fresh strawberries for garnish. Stir gently to combine and serve immediately.
