Description

This Thai Peanut Sauce is a creamy, sweet, and slightly spicy condiment that’s perfect for dipping, drizzling, or tossing with your favorite dishes. Ready in just 5 minutes, it’s a versatile and customizable sauce that adds bold flavor to noodles, spring rolls, salads, and grilled meats.

Ingredients

½ cup smooth peanut butter

2 tablespoons soy sauce or Tamari

2 tablespoons brown sugar (or honey or maple syrup)

1 tablespoon rice vinegar (or lime juice)

1 clove garlic, finely minced

½1 teaspoon Sriracha sauce, to taste

36 tablespoons warm water

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine peanut butter, soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, garlic, and Sriracha.
  2. Whisk until smooth and well combined.
  3. Gradually add warm water, one tablespoon at a time, until you reach desired consistency.
  4. Serve immediately with spring rolls, noodles, salads, or grilled meats.

Notes

  • Use crunchy peanut butter if you prefer a textured sauce.
  • Swap rice vinegar with lime juice for a citrusy flavor.
  • For a creamier sauce, add a splash of coconut milk.
  • Adjust sweetness with extra honey or maple syrup.
  • Make it spicier by adding more Sriracha or chili flakes.
