Description
A simple and nutritious 3-ingredient chia pudding that is easy to prepare and perfect for a healthy breakfast or snack. Made with chia seeds, almond milk, and honey, this pudding is topped with fresh strawberries for a delightful, refreshing treat.
Ingredients
Chia Pudding Base
- 2 tablespoons chia seeds
- ½ cup almond milk (or milk of choice)
- 1 tablespoon honey (or other sweetener, optional)
Toppings
- Strawberries (or other fruits for topping)
Instructions
- Mix Ingredients: Pour the chia seeds, almond milk, and honey into a jar. Mix well to combine, then let the mixture settle for 2-3 minutes before mixing again thoroughly to eliminate any clumps.
- Refrigerate: Cover the jar and place it in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or ideally overnight, to allow the chia seeds to absorb the liquid and thicken into a pudding texture.
- Add Toppings and Serve: When ready to eat, remove from the fridge, top with fresh strawberries or your favorite fruits, and enjoy the pudding cold for a refreshing and healthy treat.
Notes
- You can substitute almond milk with any other milk or milk alternative of your choice.
- The sweetener is optional; adjust the amount or type to your preference, including maple syrup or agave nectar.
- Let the pudding sit overnight for the best texture.
- Add nuts or seeds for added texture and nutrition if desired.
